Description
Inclusive Leadership with Emotional Intelligence as a Strategy
This dynamic and interactive course is designed to equip leaders with the essential skills and insights needed to foster inclusive workplaces by strategically applying emotional intelligence. Effective leadership goes beyond traditional management approaches in today's diverse and rapidly changing business landscape. Successful leaders understand the importance of emotional intelligence in building strong, collaborative teams and creating an inclusive organizational culture.
This training is geared towards creating an environment that promotes Inclusive Leadership. The course helps leaders, supervisors, and managers create a shared language and understanding across their organizations.
Inclusive Leadership
As conversations around racial equity, diversity, and inclusion have become increasingly more common, leaders are challenging themselves to develop steps to integrate inclusive leadership to move their businesses forward. Increasing diversity and having anti-bias training are good primary steps, but creating a truly inclusive and diverse workforce goes much deeper.
In order to help leaders, supervisors, or managers evaluate their own strategies and approaches, we discuss the importance of understanding the 6 Cs of inclusive leaders.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe and understand the importance of Inclusive Leadership and its impact on your staff
- Explain and demonstrate how to ensure that the work environment is safe for clients and staff alike according to inclusive leadership strategies
- Demonstrate and understand how you help your staff develop the competencies that an inclusive workforce needs to create a safe environment for all.
- Be able to explain and demonstrate new and creative tools, and practical skills that impact your supervision style and support your staff.
