About RS Wellness Center

RS Wellness Center is a Black woman-owned holistic wellness space dedicated to promoting rest, healing, and intentional self-care. We serve a diverse community through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and holistic wellness services, including mental health therapy, emotional wellness assessments and plans,  massage therapy, foot soaks, infrared sauna sessions, stretching, reflexology, all with a therapeutic touch.

Our mission is to create a safe, affirming environment where clients can reconnect with their mind and  bodies, release stress, and nurture overall well-being.

Available Positions

Massage Therapist (Fee for Service)

Location: Voorhees, NJ
 Pay Rate: $30–$35/hour (plus tips)
 Type: Per Diem / On-Call

 Position Overview

We are seeking a Per Diem Massage Therapist to join our growing wellness team. The ideal candidate is grounded, compassionate, and aligned with holistic and integrative approaches to care. We are looking for someone who also has experience in reflexology to provide full foot care and holistic healing experiences for our clients. This position is perfect for a therapist who values community, flexibility, and working in a wellness-centered environment.

As a Per Diem Massage Therapist, you’ll provide on-call or scheduled massage services as needed, helping clients restore balance and ease through touch therapy that supports the mind, body, and spirit.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional massage therapy services in accordance with licensing standards and client needs.
  • Perform relaxation and therapeutic massages that promote circulation, reduce tension, and support holistic healing.
  • Maintain a calm, inclusive, and welcoming environment aligned with RS Wellness Center’s mission.
  • Communicate with clients about their wellness goals, comfort levels, and treatment preferences.
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including sanitation and setup.
  • Collaborate with wellness practitioners (stretching specialists, and therapists) as part of an integrated team.
  • Educate clients on self-care practices and wellness maintenance between sessions.

 Qualifications

  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the state of New Jersey (required).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in spa, wellness, or therapeutic settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, reflexology, and massage techniques.
  • Passion for holistic, client-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and cultural sensitivity.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly Pay: $30–$35/hour (based on experience), plus tips.
  • Flexible, per diem schedule — ideal for massage therapists seeking supplemental hours or work-life balance.

Outpatient Therapist (Fee for Service)

Our therapist will be responsible for providing individual, group, and couples therapy to clients on a weekly basis. They will maintain electronic files with current notes, contact information, and treatment plans as part of the responsibilities. The psychotherapist will also be responsible for wellness training (ie. Vicarious Trauma, Burnout, Self-care, etc).

We have a position for a PA or NJ therapists:

Requirements

  • New Jersey/Pennsylvania full licensure in good standing (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, pre-license will not be considered at this time)
  • Passion for working within the cultural framework of our client’s needs
  • Ability to utilize electronic client management system and basic computer skills
  • Bilingual strongly preferred
  • Licensed in both states a plus
  • Satisfactory completion of professional references, criminal background, and driving record checks.

  • Maintain client demographic info with an electronic system
  • Create and maintain diagnostic progress and treatment plans on a regular basis
  • Meet with supervisor for case reviews
  • Utilize electronic system for maintaining client information
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 10-12 weekly sessions (contractor)
  • Two evenings or weekend availability
  • Part-time hours per week to full-time hours are available depending on the role.

Compensation

The compensation is starting at $50-$70 /per hour depending on experience.

The part-time/fee for service, position compensation is based on experience.
