$25.00

This course is designed for mental health professionals, clergy, and students seeking to deepen their understanding of the complex relationship between faith, guilt, shame, and sexual expression. Christian-based clients often struggle to reconcile their spiritual values with feelings of guilt and shame related to sexuality, which can create emotional distress and relational challenges. This course offers evidence-based strategies and Christian-informed approaches to help clients process these emotions, reframe negative beliefs through the lens of grace, and cultivate healthy intimacy.

Led by a licensed therapist and sexologist, participants will explore the psychological and spiritual underpinnings of guilt and shame, the role of religious teachings in shaping sexual attitudes, and the impact of these factors on mental and relational health. Through case studies and role-play demonstrations, participants will learn how to integrate clinical interventions with spiritual sensitivity, creating a safe space for clients to align their faith and sexual well-being.

This is an intermediate-level course. The course is open to mental health professionals, students, and individuals interested in exploring how guilt and shame impact Christian clients.
