Course Objectives:

  1. Familiarize participants with the core principles and components of attachment theory.

  2. Explore, explain, and describe the relationship between attachment styles and the experience of trauma.

  3. Understand the impact of trauma on different attachment styles (secure, anxious, avoidant, disorganized).

  4. Identify therapeutic interventions that can assist individuals with trauma and insecure attachment styles.

  5. Learn practical strategies for building secure attachments and promoting resilience in trauma survivors.

  6. Discuss the importance of self-care and boundary-setting in the context of trauma and attachment.
