Taavon Bazemore is a licensed clinical social worker from Baltimore, MD. Mr. Bazemore received his Master Degree in Social Work in 2012 from Morgan State University. Mr. Bazemore is completing his PhD in Human Services at Capella University with a concentration in Social and Community Services. Taavon has been working in trauma-informed but healing-centered care and practice for several years now. He offers continuing education credit barring training and coaching to professionals to address different types of trauma consumers face as well as provide services to address secondary or vicarious trauma. Mr. Bazemore offers community-based training as well cultivating conversations between professionals and consumers to address the trauma consumers face on individual and community levels. While Mr. Bazemore is trauma-informed, most of his professional work is resilience-focused. His goal is to support the transition to healthy and positive outcomes despite exposure to adverse experiences.
