Therapist- Outpatient Department

Onna Jones

Onna Jones

"As a therapist, Onna strives to honor each one of my clients' needs. She does this by first understanding the challenges they are facing, listening to how their past experiences have contributed to their present moment, then collaboratively establishing goals to work towards. Through the therapeutic process, Onna hopes to help you achieve meaningful and lasting changes in your life.

Much of the work Onna does focuses on developing self-compassion and reframing negative thought patterns. Onna will help you appreciate your strengths, while at the same time working to continue to motivate you to grow and evolve. All therapy Onna administers comes from a social justice lens that is trauma informed. Onna practices using person-centered and trauma-informed techniques, while drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a touch of love.

Onna has her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor through The National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc."
